Poblacion, Talisayan - Last August 2, 2017 Trainees on Massage Therapy NC2 received their complete kits during their first week of training. MSWDO Ann Cynthia Rosabal joined by DSWD SLP PDO Mr. Quinn G. Nantes and the MUNICIPAL ACTION Team with CTEC Ophelia Pelaez in distributing the training kits and cash allowances.
The students were more than happy to receive Php. 3,850 worth of massage therapy kits and portion of the Php 5,300.00 cash fare allowance. The training is designed for 53 days which includes Lectures, Film Showing, Actual Demonstration, Industry Immersion, Enterprise Developement Training and Employment Skills Training.The President and CEO of Skills Mastery Institute Doctor Irene Floro, R.N., shared with the students the benefit of having to train at SMI. Students were encouraged to hear some important business tips from the dynamic CEO and self-made entrepreneur.
This project is fully funded by the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 10 through the Sustainable Livelihood Program.
