40 DSWD-SLP Beneficiaries have Graduated in Cookery NCII

Last September 19, 2017, 1PM at the Barangay Hall of San Martin, Malaybalay Bukidnon, 40 DSWD-SLP Beneficiaries of Cookery NCII has graduated. The program was graced by SMI President and CEO, Dr. Irene Floro; Brgy. San Martin Chairman, Mr. Ernesto L. Valdez; CSWDO Virginia I. Flores; Community Facilitator, Ms. Jessica P. Mianagua; TESDA Provincial Director, Kotie Bax; Social Worker Officer, Mr. Rodeth S. Luzano; Team Leader, Ms. Darling F Saratorio; and Keynote Speaker, Mr. Christopher S. Capinpin.

The beneficiaries were all excited to march and receive their certificates while wearing their toga. Brgy. Chairman, Mr. Ernesto Valdez started the program with his welcome remarks and guests from different government agencies gave out their inspirational messages to the graduates. SMI President and CEO, Dr. Irene Floro also gave her message of thanks and congratulatory to all the graduates for not only completing the training but also for their hardwork and dedicatiion which made them earn P22,000 as a group from all their food sales.

Mrs. Vickie T. Valdez, one of the beneficiaries said in her thanksgiving message, "The skills training for Cookery NCII did not only made us learn how to cook and equipped us on how to earn through selling our finished products, but most importantly, it gave us a much better income for our Family and hope that is the new beginning of a more brighter future. Through the skills that we have learned, we are more confident to be creative and innovative when it comes to cooking different menus."

The commencement excercise ended with a graduation song number from the graduates and a photo opportunity from all the guests. The beneficiaries also received their remaining allowance of P400.00
